Michael Billingsley (SAG/AEA) was born and raised in Rome, Georgia. He is a graduate of Oglethorpe University (B.A.) and the Actors Studio Drama School (M.F.A.). He has performed in theatre and films produced in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Atlanta. He currently lives in New York where he has performed at the Lucille Lortel, The Cherry Lane, HERE, Altered Stages and Westbeth Theatere and has yet to be featured in a Law and Order. He is a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has studied Tai Chi, Jujitsu, Escrima and Capoeira. Currently Michael teaches Movement at the Actors Studio MFA Program and is a senior instructor for Kid's Kicking Cancer - an organization that teaches martial arts and meditation techniques in hospitals around New York. His favorite writers include: Sapphire, Neruda, Beckett, Begosian, O'Neil, Krishnamurti and Galeano. Michael also has the pleasure of assisting his muse, A. Sayeeda Clarke, in making beautiful films. He is a member of the Actors Studio.
